Job Description:
  • Identify and automate all recurring processes across the organization by developing back-end services and solutions, leveraging on existing productivity tools & information systems.
  • Continuously carry out research to identify technologies that can be used for continual improvement of processes.
  • Develop easy to use technical and user-facing documentation of implemented process automation solutions to provide effective knowledge transfer to future team members, ensure seamless integration and enhancement of solution.
  • Organize sensitization sessions and in-house training for employees on process automation solutions implemented.
  • Work closely with different functions to understand; identify and support automation opportunities by leading the design of the automated solution and building out the technical components.
  • Conduct end-to-end solution development activities such as requirements analysis, design, development, testing and support activities.
  • Execute technical aspects of the process improvement project and produce solutions for the implementation of automations being responsible for the development of the solutions, while supporting the testing activities, and production deployment
  • Collaborate with Group Head Operational Excellence to create designs for process performance and process automation solutions’ production readiness, including user acceptance testing, understanding of operational risks and contingencies, identifying, and addressing IT concerns and challenges.
  • Work closely with the product, solution delivery, business, and engineering teams to ensure that solution’s functional and technical design meet the requirements of the business and comply with internal IT standards and guidelines.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring collaboration, professionalism and cooperation against scope, timelines, and budget.
Requirements
  • BSc in Computer Engineering, Process Engineering or in a similar field. A higher qualification in a relevant discipline will be a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a software development organization in a similar role.
  • Exposure to tools & technology on business process automation and workflow management.
  • Experience with project management and solid understanding of computer programming and software development.
  • Ability to leverage APIs to build extensions to existing information systems and productivity tools.
  • Experience in working with Virtual Servers, ability to troubleshoot and perform complex system tests
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and leverage subject matter expertise, knowledge, trends, and experience.
  • Embrace Agile Methodology and working efficiently with ambiguity with a desire to continually upgrade technical knowledge.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills and excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Creative thinking, strong analytical skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent manual dexterity, ability to keep up with the latest technologies and communicate effectively with other members of the team.
