Yomfield Nursery and Primary school is located at Tejumola Estate, opposite Police post, Obantoko, Abeokuta, Ogun State. It was founded in September 1996 with the main motive of providing educational services to all Nigerians, At the moment there is a Daycare unit along with the Nursery and Primary sections. It is a day school primarily established with a view to bringing children up to cradle through the play way method as a route to other methods in order to prepare them for future roles in the society.We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:1.) Account OfficerJob Location: Abeokuta, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-timeKey Responsibilities

Managing and maintaining up-to-date student fee payment records.
Issuance of invoices, receipts, and payment reminders to parents/guardians.
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.
Working with auditors during audits and ensure accurate financial reporting.
Ensuring compliance with statutory tax and pension regulations (e.g., PAYE, VAT, etc.)
Liaising with banks and other financial institutions as needed.
Monitoring school budgets and ensure adherence to financial plans.
Reconciling bank statements and school financial accounts regularly.
Handling payroll processing and staff salary administration.
Assisting in procurement, vendor payment, and inventory control.
Maintaining strict confidentiality of all financial data.
Provide financial support and analysis for school projects and capital expenses.

Qualifications & Experience

B.Sc / HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
Minimum of 2 - 3 years of experience in a similar role (preferably in an academic institution).
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.,Excel etc.).
Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACA, ACCA) is an added advantage.

Attending to all assigned classes regularly and punctually.
Conducting class tests, periodic tests, practical/projects, homework etc on a regular basis and marking all exercise books while proper records obtained by students are kept as continuous assessment.
Involvement in the conduct of afternoon session classes for students at designated times on the time-table.

Requirements

Must possess at least B.Sc., B.Ed. in English Language or other related fields from reputable institutions.
Must possess at least 2 years of cognate experience teaching specialized subject.
Possess at least 2 years experience working as an English Language tutor.
Sound understanding of the English Language primary school curriculum
Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail with the superb organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary
