Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

• Evaluate and troubleshoot equipment performance and mechanical problems.
• Evaluate new technologies and alternatives for equipment repair and come up with the optimum decision.
• Manage equipment repairs, upgrades and installations utilizing in-house resources or contractor services.
• Provide full support and monitor our Junior Engineers.
• Provide technical support to the maintenance team to enhance preventive maintenance strategies and checks, along with predictive maintenance strategies and operation-based maintenance checks.
• Participate effectively meetings and provide all needed technical maintenance support and any other job that will be assigned to you.

• A HND/bachelor's degree in relevant fields with 1-5 years of work experience.
• Detailed knowledge of procedures and policy principles at all levels.
• Analytical and practical understanding of workflow, capacity planning/optimization, and process implementation.
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Strong Leadership, team management, development, and mentoring.
• Ability to translate local regulatory requirements into a thorough knowledge of Operational routine.
• Relationship building, negotiation, problem-solving, and troubleshooting
• Ability to proactively identify roles requiring attention.
• Having proficiency in Information Technology (IT) is an added advantage.
