- Support transaction processes from origination to closing, including the preparation of transaction-related documentation (e.g. investment memoranda, presentations and financing documents)
- Contribute to project origination by helping to formulate, prepare and appraise new transactions
- Assist in preparing and reviewing project development plans, detailed financial models, schedules and budgets.
- Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on potential infrastructure projects, including market trends, regulatory environments, technical feasibility and preliminary financial viability.
- Prepare presentations, reports and internal memos for deal meetings, client engagements and internal reviews
- Support with the recruitment, selection and management of consultants (legal, technical, environmental, commercial etc) to facilitate the due diligence and development of projects.
- Conduct research and due diligence on projects, clients, partners (including EPC/O&M contractors) and advisors to inform investment decisions
- Conduct KYC checks and gather relevant information on clients, advisors and other key stakeholders.
- Strong research skills, including the ability to develop research materials and informative reports using publicly available information, internal resources, and professional networks.

- Deep interest in industry trends within Africa’s Infrastructure sector, with a commitment to staying informed and up to date
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience in financial projections, project finance, and basic infrastructure project assessment.
- Basic understanding of financial products, including project and structured debt, equity, quasi equity/mezzanine financing, trade finance, and project development.

- A strong first degree in engineering, finance, law, business, or related disciplines from a recognised university
- 2 to 4 years professional experience preferably in a relevant field such as infrastructure development, investment banking, consulting.
- Strong analytical, quantitative and research skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Fluency in writing and speaking English is mandatory.
- French and/or Portuguese, will be advantageous.
- Willingness to travel “out-of-station” with minimal prior notice
