- Identify and evaluate the latest technologies, assessing their potential for strategic advantage and business impact.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership, business units, and stakeholders to understand their technological needs and drive technology-enabled business initiatives.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the technology teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
- Accelerate innovation initiatives to enhance our products, services, and processes for optimum efficiency.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors and partners, evaluating and selecting the most suitable solutions and services.
- Oversee the development and implementation of scalable and secure technology systems, software solutions, and infrastructure.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy tailored to the client’s objectives, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Create and manage the technology budget, optimising resource allocation and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Oversee the design and implementation of robust technical architectures, ensuring alignment with business requirements and security standards.
- Maintain efficient technology operations, including systems infrastructure, network, data management, and security protocols.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations.
- Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in a senior technology leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift, Ansible, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP.
- Proven experience with systems architecture, software development, and digital transformation.
- Excellent team leadership and communication skills.
- Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g. AWS, ITIL, PMP).
- Familiarity with Nigerian tech regulatory frameworks and infrastructure realities
- Experience scaling technical teams in startups.
