Our line of frozen products has expanded to include the finest quality of chicken, potatoes, cheese, vegetables, seafood, and ice cream products in the market. We are currently hiring an experienced and objective-driven candidates to fill the below positions:We are recruiting to fill the position below:Job Position: Senior IT OfficerJob Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Employment Type: Full-timeResponsibilities

IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance and operation of computer systems, networks, and software and ensure the reliability and security of IT infrastructure.
Security Management: Implement and monitor security measures to protect data and systems from cyber threats and conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
Technical Support: Provide advanced technical support to resolve complex IT issues and mentor and guide junior IT staff in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Project Management: Lead IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new installations and collaborate with other departments to understand and meet their IT needs.
Policy Development: Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance and security and stay updated with the latest technology trends and recommend improvements.
Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers and evaluate and negotiate contracts for IT services and products.
Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for staff on new technologies and best practices and promote continuous learning and professional development within the IT team.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
Minimum of 6 – 9 years of cognate experiences from manufacturing companies.
Proven track record in IT support, administration, and management.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to optimize processes and drive cost savings.
Certification in IT (e.g., CCNA etc.) will be an added advantage.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Key skills and Competencies:

Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networks.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Familiarity with operating systems like Windows, Linux, and macOS.
Knowledge of network protocols, security principles, and best practices.
Strong project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to lead and mentor a team.
