  • The Compliance Officer will be responsible for ensuring that all premises benefiting from our waste collection services are complying with payment obligations.
  • The officer will regularly review waste collection records, identify non-compliant clients, and support the enforcement of compliance procedures in line with company policy.
Key Responsibilities
Review and Audit Records:
  • Regularly cross-check the waste collection database against payment records.
  • Identify premises where waste is being collected without corresponding payment.
Compliance Monitoring:
  • Maintain a running list of all non-compliant premises across all zones.
  • Flag and report defaulters to the appropriate internal unit for follow-up.
Client Follow-Up:
  • Work with the operations and field teams to ensure that identified premises are contacted for payment compliance.
  • Assist in drafting or delivering compliance notifications to defaulters, where necessary.
Reporting:
  • Prepare weekly or monthly compliance reports detailing findings, actions taken, and outstanding issues.
  • Recommend actions to improve compliance and close existing gaps.
Data Accuracy:
  • Ensure all records in the database are accurate, up to date, and reflect the actual field operations.
  • Liaise with the operations teams to reconcile data discrepancies.
  • Support the field team in verifying premises where compliance is in question.
Key Requirements
  • A minimum of HND/BSc in any relevant field with at least 1 year of work experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other basic data tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Integrity and a high sense of accountability.
Salary
N150,000 / month.
