- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control standards and procedures for all products, ensuring compliance with both company policies and national regulations (e.g., NAFDAC).
- Conduct regular inspections and tests on incoming raw materials, in-process products, and final packaged goods to verify quality, purity, and safety.
- Monitor and audit the processing and packaging lines to ensure operational procedures are followed correctly and to identify any potential quality deviations.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all quality checks, test results, and audit reports for traceability and analysis.
- Investigate and report on quality issues or non-conformances, working with the production team to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Train and mentor staff on proper hygiene, sanitation, and quality control procedures to foster a culture of quality.
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Microbiology, or a related field.
- 8 – 10 years of proven experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably in the agricultural industry.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and ISO 9001 (Quality Management System).
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
