The candidate must be a seasoned professional with a strong background in loan processing, risk management, team leadership and business operations in a credit facility. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and accurate loan disbursal processes while maintaining a high level of compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate must have a strong background in Fintech operations, process optimization, and a deep understanding of the financial services industry.RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and implement operational strategies aligned with the overall business objectives.Oversee the end-to-end loan disbursal process, from application review to fund disbursement.Ensure timely and accurate processing of loan applications in accordance with established policies and procedures.Implement strategies to streamline and optimize the loan processing workflow.Collaborate with the risk management team to identify and address potential risks associated with loan disbursal.Continuously assess and enhance the efficiency of loan disbursement processes.Ensure strict adherence to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.Lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.Drive the execution of strategic initiatives to enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer satisfaction.Implement customer feedback mechanisms to drive continuous improvement.Collaborate with the customer service team to improve the overall customer experience.Identify areas for improvement and implement best practices to increase operational effectiveness.REQUIREMENTSMinimum of first degree in a Social Sciences, Sciences or Engineering.At least 10 years of relevant experience in financial services operations, with substantial supervisory experience within operations, preferably in a commercial bank or finance house.Must have a robust knowledge of banking and fintech operations; settlement and reconciliation; general ledger management on core banking systems, banking use-cases and transaction flows.Possess working knowledge of local and global prudential guidelines touching on credit and operations risk management.Advanced Excel Usage; Credit operations, bank and financial statement analysis.In depth understanding of process design and documentation; General ledger management, settlement analysis and e-payment fraud prevention.Excellent leadership and management skills, which includes team coaching, coordination and public speaking.Efficient communication and presentation skills.Ability to work effectively with a cross-functional team.Desire and aptitude for learning new concepts on the job.Salary: N15m- N18m pa grossMethod of Application: Interested and qualified candidates should forward their CVs to careers using the job title as the subject of the emaiL
