The impact investor and business services lead’s responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing different aspects of the business, compiling data and reports, presenting recommendations, and guiding the implementation of new projects.To be successful as an impact investor and business services lead, you should have expert business knowledge and excellent communication skills. A top impact investor and business services lead should have outstanding research skills and demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities.Key Responsibilities :Meeting with and advising SMEs throughout the consultation process.Determining business needs and identifying weaknesses.Assessing and analyzing business practices and procedures.Compiling and presenting research findings and recommendations.Developing detailed project plans to drive changes and improvements.Organizing and managing business projects.Providing guidance when issues, challenges or problematic situations arise.Tracking and assessing the effectiveness of projects.Capacity buildingPerform due diligence for SMEs.Review SMEs business for loan and financing.Business case analysisLiaise with trainers to provide necessary trainings to SMEsRequirementsDegree in business administration or related field required.5 years’ experience and above in similar role.Previous experience in business consulting and advisory is preferred.Experience working on a donor project.Experience working in an Impact Investment Sector.Experience supporting small businesses.Experience working in the loan department of a bank is an added advantage.Strong research and data collection skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
