- We are recruiting skilled applicants to fill the position listed in order to expand hernetwork business in the Northern Region.
- We are looking for a competent Spare Part Inventory Supervisor who will oversee implementing inventory control measures to ensure that the company minimizes stock holding and maximizes stock system with proper documentation.
- The role involves overseeing inventory, analyzing data, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring efficient purchasing processes, particularly for motorcycle and power productscomponents.
- Monitor current customer base and recommend strategies to attain more clients and ensure optimal level of customer satisfaction
- Identify and resolve all issues in parts department and ensure achievement of all short- and long-term objectives.
- Maintaining an online database of all products and ensuring daily inventory updates.
- Conduct periodic inventory stock counting / inventory accuracy checks.
- Ensuring proper authorization for stock releases and accurate documentation for item relocations.
- Developing and managing vendor relationships, evaluating supplier reliability, and identifying alternate sources.
- Develop, expand, and manage customer relationships in assigned coverage area to enhance parts sales.
- Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers receive satisfactory service and quality goods.
- Maintain the stores' approved HSE best practices.
- Maintain electronic inventory management database.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Line Manager.
- HND / Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or any other related study.
- 1 - 3 years of proven experience in similar role.
- Proficiency in using ERP management systems. Experience with SAGE preferable.
- Knowledge of industry trends and regulations.
- Problem-solving skills to deal with parts inventory issues.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Product knowledge to ensure they identify parts correctly and recommend the needed parts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to any part of Nigeria.
- Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
