Job Description:Our Client offers advisory services on integrated polices and practices within the food system, climate, healty nexus.Job SummaryThe food technologist is to provide technical expertise in developing and reviewing formulations for current and future products. Collaborating with project teams, the technologist will guide new product development from concept to commercialization. Responsibilities include enhancing nutritional quality, flavor, and texture while ensuring the company remains at the forefront of innovation in food products.Key Responsilbilities

Generate innovative product concepts

Monitor the utilisation of additives

Maintain Production hygiene and uphold quality control standards

Ensure Compllance with rigorous food safety regulations

Identify and source products from suppliers

Acessc and scrutinise suppliers

Conduct testing and analysis of samples

Prepare comprehensive reports

Collaborate with marketing personnel

Requirements

A graduate degree in food science/technology

Minimum os second class upper (2.1)

The ability to work independently and traveling to different food processing factories

Meticulous attention to detail especially with regard to food hygiene and safety

BSC in Food science and Technology

5 years working experience in food processing

Must be a Thinker and a doer

Proven track record in providing technical solutions

Knowledge of Good manufacturing practices(GMP) and Hazards Analysis and critical control points(HACCP) as well as worker safety, social and environmental sustainability

High developed interpersonal and relationship building skill

Reporting competence

Strong stakeholder management skills
