- Direct and coordinate daily operations of all equipment.
- Execute strategic plans and lead daily plant operations (maintenance, logistics support, and maintenance executions).
- Develop systems and processes to track and optimize productivity, standards, metrics, and equipment performance to ensure effective return on assets.
- Plan and coordinate daily operations of all equipment at optimum level.
- Monitor equipment and ensure that they are in good working order.
- Repair, service, or replace plant equipment as needed.
- Commit to plant safety procedures.
- Ensure servicing of all equipment within the stipulated period.
- Resolve breakdowns of equipment.
- Diagnose faults and provide advice on routine and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure timely servicing and proper record-keeping of equipment.
- Record and document service hours of all equipment.
- Develop and update equipment registers with users.
- Collate and analyze data to minimize waste or overtime.
- Coordinate equipment certification.
- Supervise and record proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
- Supervise efficient operations of all plant equipment.
- Perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues efficiently, including reading meters and gauges at regular intervals.
- Maintain records of all data from equipment such as operations, fuel consumption, and voltage base.
- BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering or a related construction discipline.
- 57 years of related experience in construction (experience in field engineering layout in commercial construction industry is preferred).
- Possess knowledge of the principles and practices of civil construction.
- Ability to understand and adhere to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Exceptional organizational skills, both electronically and with hard copy documentation.
