- Finance Functions
- You will prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- You will post and maintain entries for assets, liabilities, and capital accounts by analyzing information
- You will ensure proper documentation and postings in ZohoBooks in line with policy
- You will reconcile payables, receivables, and bank accounts while monitoring financial standards
- You will manage petty cash, invoicing, and financial record backups
- You will provide audit schedules, technical advice, and forecasts to support business planning
- You will review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures for efficiency
- Admin Functions
- You will manage office consumables and ensure equipment is serviced, repaired, or replaced when needed
- You will coordinate with vendors and artisans, negotiating contracts to maximize value and minimize cost
- You will maintain a safe, organized workplace and ensure daily operations start on time
- You will monitor office assistants and maintain a reliable vendor database to support smooth operations
- To be considered, you should have...
- A BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 2–3 years of experience in accounting or administration (experience in an audit firm is an advantage)
- Professional qualifications such as ICAN/ACCA (added advantage)
- Experience with financial reporting and knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong proficiency in ZohoBooks and MS Excel
- Good administrative, time management, and interpersonal skills
