An indigenous Engineering firm with its operational office in Port Harcourt and Lagos and presence in other African countries is recruiting suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:Job Position: Quality Health Safety and Environment (QHSE) Officer

Job Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-timeKey Tasks
  • Carry out Quality / Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) activities like - Accident investigation, risk assessment and Hazard Identification Conduct safety audits, emergency response and Training.
  • Coordinate HSE meetings and collate HSE statistics
  • Perform and track field Base HSE audits, preventive action and follow up.
  • Update HSE statistics boards, track collate and analyse QHSE data and indicators.
  • Coordinate associate QHSE training, induction and certification.
  • Conduct accident and incident investigation.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and certification bodies to ensure validity of relevant certificates.
  • Ensure the availability and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
  • Must possess HSE level 1, 283-ISPON.
  • Minimum of 4 years of work experience in similar role.
  • Certification with NEBOSH is an added advantage.
  • Possession of Auditor Certification in IS045001/9001 will be a plus.
