
Legal Officer - Commercial Contract

- Research and review relevant laws and regulations.
- Analyze legal issues and develop strategies to resolve them
- Draft, review and negotiate all types of commercial contracts and other legal documents
- Provide legal advice, guidance and recommendations to the Company on various matters
- Monitor legal developments and advise on the implications for the organization
- Liaise with external counsels, LEAs and regulatory bodies when required
- Assist in the development and implementation of legal policies and procedures

- Bachelor’s degree in Law. A Master’s degree in Business & Commercial Law or other relevant certifications will be advantageous.
- Core experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing SLAs, contracts with banks, vendors, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience, with at least three (3) years focused on reviewing and drafting commercial contracts.
- Strong knowledge of commercial law, corporate law, and fintech regulations.
- Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing).
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strategic approach to risk assessment and management.
- Proficiency in legal research and Microsoft Office Suite.
