Main Missions:

Supervise Warehouse Operations and Inventory Management:
- Oversee, supervise, and coordinate all warehouse operations, including inventory control and stock integrity.
- Ensure goods received and dispatched are properly recorded, labeled, and sealed.
- Approve and monitor inventory levels and stock movement between locations or third-party warehouses.
- Enforce strict hygiene, safety, and security standards in all warehouse operations.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations in line with internal control procedures.
- Maintain structured filing systems for inventory reports, receipts, and delivery notes.
- Plan and schedule all deliveries in coordination with the sales and finance teams.
- Monitor performance of delivery operations, including third-party transporters and in-house vehicles
- Resolve delivery-related challenges including route delays, failed deliveries, and emergency supply chain disruptions.
- Ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory transportation requirements within Nigeria.
- Identify and onboard competent logistics vendors across various categories (haulage, courier, LTL/FTL).
- Maintain a vetted list of pre-qualified vendors with up-to-date KYC documentation including CAC certificates, tax ID, and proof of insurance.
- Negotiate transportation rates and service agreements in line with company cost and efficiency targets.
- Continuously evaluate vendor performance using delivery timelines, cost efficiency, and customer satisfaction indicators.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports on stock movement, delivery timelines, vendor performance, and associated logistics costs.
- Recommend improvements to warehousing and distribution systems based on trends and insights.
- Collaborate with sales and procurement to forecast logistics needs and plan accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and timely communication with all internal departments regarding logistics schedules and issues.
- Candidates should possess a Bachelor's / Master's Degree with 10 - 15 years of work experience.
Theoretical and practical knowledge:
- Strong understanding of warehousing, supply chain, and logistics management within the Nigerian operating context.
- Familiarity with transportation networks, logistics vendor markets, and regulatory compliance.
- Inventory planning and tracking expertise.
- Familiar with import/export and customs processes (where applicable).
- Excellent communication and vendor negotiation skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel).
- Working Knowledge of ERP programmes.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented.
- Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities.
- Proactive, reliable, and capable of working under pressure.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to compliance.
