The Networks Engineer at SWATX is tasked with designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network infrastructure in Nigeria to support our growing operations. This role requires extensive knowledge of networking principles, security protocols, and troubleshooting methodologies to ensure optimal network performance and reliability.Your responsibilities will include configuring network devices, monitoring network traffic, and collaborating with IT teams to enhance overall system performance. You will also be responsible for enforcing security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2-4 years of experience in network engineering or a related technical field.
Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and architectures.
Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and network security best practices.
Hands-on experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Ability to diagnose network issues and implement effective solutions.
Solid knowledge of network security measures, such as VPNs and firewalls.
Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and services (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
Certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are preferred.
