  • We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Freelance Website Developer to design, build, and maintain high-quality websites for our clients.
  • The ideal candidate has a strong background in front-end and/or back-end development, understands UI/UX principles, and is capable of delivering responsive, SEO-friendly websites on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients or project managers to understand website requirements.
  • Design and develop websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.
  • Develop or integrate with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, Webflow).
  • Ensure responsive and mobile-friendly design.
  • Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
  • Test and debug code to ensure functionality and compatibility across browsers and devices.
  • Maintain and update existing websites as needed.
  • Communicate project progress, timelines, and potential issues proactively.
Requirements
  • Interested candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree with proven experience as a freelance or professional web developer.
  • Strong knowledge of web development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, etc.) and/or back-end languages (PHP, Node.js, Python).
  • Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, or Wix.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles and SEO best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • A portfolio of completed projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms and payment integrations.
  • Graphic design skills or experience with design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD).
  • Familiarity with APIs and third-party integrations.
Compensation
  • Salary: N400,000 - N700,000 per month.
  • Based on project scope and experience level.
  • Flexible working hours.
