• We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and reliable Cashier to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, accurately processing transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
• This role plays a key part in ensuring a positive shopping experience for all our customers.

• Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries or requests.
• Scan and process items accurately using the store’s POS system.
• Handle cash, credit, and other forms of payment, issuing receipts and change where necessary.
• Bag, box, or wrap purchased items neatly.
• Follow all store policies regarding transactions, returns, and exchanges.
• Report price discrepancies, product issues, or unusual transactions to the supervisor.
• Maintain an organized and clean checkout area.
• Monitor and balance the cash register at the start and end of shifts.
• Assist in restocking shelves near checkout counters when needed.
• Uphold store standards for cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction.

• Minimum of OND, HND, or University Degree in any discipline.
• Previous work experience in a retail or grocery store is mandatory.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Honest, reliable, and punctual.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
