Dangote Cement Plc, Gboko is seeking an Assistant General Manager (AGM) for E&I (Electrical & Instrumentation) at their Coal Power Plant. The AGM will be responsible for the overall management and coordination of electrical and instrumentation activities at the power plant.Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems at the coal power plant
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of electrical and instrumentation equipment
  • Supervise a team of technicians and ensure their compliance with safety regulations and procedures
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of electrical and instrumentation issues
  • Monitor energy consumption and implement energy efficiency measures
  • Manage the budget for electrical and instrumentation activities
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements in electrical and instrumentation systems
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other departments when needed
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 20 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, preferably in a coal power plant
  • Excellent knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems and equipment
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work
  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
  • Proficiency in MS Office and relevant software applications
Requirements
