Job Title: Auxiliary Nurse
Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-timeResponsibilities
Patient Care & Assistance:
Welcome and prepare patients for diagnostic procedures (e.g., X-ray, ultrasound, MRI, CT, lab tests).
Provide reassurance, explain procedures in simple terms, and assist patients with mobility.
Monitor patients' comfort and respond promptly to basic needs.
Assist in moving and positioning patients safely during procedures.Clinical Support:
Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration).
Assist doctors, radiographers, and nurses during diagnostic examinations.
Collect and label samples (urine, stool, swabs) where required.
Maintain stock of consumables (syringes, gloves, disinfectants, etc.) and report shortages.Infection Control & Safety:
Ensure all clinical areas are clean, organized, and well-prepared for procedures.
Adhere strictly to infection prevention and control practices.
Dispose of medical waste properly in compliance with health regulations.Emergency Response:
Provide first aid and assist in emergency situations until a nurse or doctor takes over.
Promptly escalate any abnormal findings or patient distress to supervising staff.Qualifications
Interested candidates should possess an OND qualification with 1 – 2 years work experience.Salary
