- You will ensure timely and accurate filing of statutory deductions such as PAYE, pension, NSITF, ITF, and withholding tax.
- You will liaise with regulatory bodies and manage documentation for tax audits and remittances.
- You will oversee payroll computations, ensuring correct application of salaries, bonuses, and deductions.
- You will manage staff benefits and statutory obligations with precision and confidentiality.
- You will maintain accurate records of all financial transactions in accordance with accounting standards.
- You will support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and reports.
- You will assess existing processes and propose improvements to strengthen internal financial controls.
- You will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports as required.
- You will analyze variances, identify trends, and offer insights that support business decisions.
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience, with a strong focus on tax and payroll.
- A solid understanding of Nigerian tax laws and statutory remittances.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks, Sage, Excel).
- Professional certification (or progress toward ACA, ACCA, or similar) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
