Systems and Virtualization (Nigeria)

• Design, implement, and manage virtualization solutions across various platforms.
• Monitor and optimize the performance and capacity of virtual systems to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Perform system updates, upgrades, and patches on virtual machines and host systems.
• Troubleshoot virtualization-related issues and provide support to users as needed.
• Develop and document best practices for virtual infrastructure management.
• Work closely with IT teams to integrate virtualization solutions with existing systems and processes.
• Ensure security policies and measures are implemented effectively within virtual environments.
• Contribute to the strategic planning of IT resources, including capacity scaling and infrastructure improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in systems administration with a focus on virtualization technologies.
• Proven experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or similar.
• Strong understanding of server hardware, storage systems, and networking principles.
• Knowledge of cloud integration and management would be an advantage.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Relevant certifications such as VMware Certified Professional or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator are a plus.
