- We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Volunteer to support our logistics and administrative work.
- The ideal candidate is comfortable using computers, working with numbers, and enjoys following up on tasks to make sure things get done properly and on time.
Logistics - Procurement:
- Assist the Executive Director and Head of Programsin identifying equipment needs
- Keep records of EAF supplies and materials.
- Assist the Head of programs with procurement processes: conduct suppliers’ assessment, market monitoring,and price data collection; keep suppliers'recordsupdated; fill the bid analysis table; follow upwith suppliers (supply delivery, purchase order, items reception, etc.).
- Fill and edit the weekly staff movement plan.
- Follow upon the good completion and compile the vehicle movement tracker and provide a weekly report to your management.
- Follow upwith drivers and report any issuesto the management.
- Prepare basic payment requests or petty cash forms.
- Check and organize supporting documents for payments (payment requests, invoices, receipts, etc.).
- Reconcile bank statements and petty cash balances regularly.
- Support in tracking expenses and preparing basic financial reports using Excel (with guidance).
- Prepare, scan, and file administrative documents (contracts, bills, delivery notes, etc.).
- Enter financial data into simple tracking tools (Excel).
- Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 1-5 years experience.
- You must be comfortable using computers (reportwriting using Word, email writing, basic data entry,and tasktracking using Excel).
- Good with numbers and detail-oriented.
- Very dynamic, organized, and proactive in following up on tasks.
- Good communication skills: you must be able to communicate and engage with humanitarian workers, community members, suppliers, contractors,and local authorities.
- The candidate must show the ability to work in a team.
- Previous experience in admin or logistics work is an added advantage.
- Contribute meaningfully to impactful projects that improve EAF operations.
- Improve skillsin office management, procurement, supply chain, inventory management, record keeping, and event coordination.
- Gain hands-on experience in humanitarian programming.
- Participate in capacity-buildingactivities on humanitarian programming, sectoral,and soft skills.
- Receive a certificate of service and recommendation upon successful completion.
- Connect with professionals in the humanitarian and development sectors.
