Oversee the regular inspection, maintenance, and repair of all farm machinery, including tractors, harvesters, planters, and other heavy equipment.
Develop and implement a preventative maintenance schedule to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of all mechanical assets.
Diagnose mechanical failures and perform timely repairs in the field or workshop to ensure continuous farm operations.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and new technology adoption to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance work, repairs, and equipment performance.
Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in strict adherence to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

8 - 10 years of experience, preferably in a processing plant. * Proven experience in a hands-on mechanical engineering role, preferably within an agricultural or heavy machinery environment.

Strong knowledge of farm equipment, diesel engines, and hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced outdoor environment.
Knowledge of health and safety standards.
