SDIL’s client a major player in the Infrastructure Investment field and pioneering new methods to deliver infrastructure in Lagos is recruiting Asset Operations Management position
to join an infra fund manager with investment interests across Nigeria.The Fund manager (based in Nigeria) is currently managing millions of dollars(Naira denominated) Fund and is in the process of investing capital across a variety of infra sub sector.Summary Job role
Extensively collaborates with the portfolio companies’ Management and Board of Directors to establish, implement and deliver long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies
Provides strategic direction, leadership and oversight on new and existing portfolio companies and the operational/infrastructure supportJob description
Keeps up to date and supports investee/ operational asset market research and analysis efforts into uncovering both global and local macroeconomic trends, with the aim of applying this knowledge to managing the portfolio companies
Develops portfolio performance benchmarks and targets for the portfolio companies based on factual market information on an annual basis, or at any other frequency interval requested
Provides timely feedback on the status of projects and advises on the company’s investment
policies,processes, and proceduresRequirementsCompetenciesMinimum of bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, operations and project management, or related field
Six Sigma Certification (minimum of Green Belt)
Project Management Professional Certification will be an added advantage
Master’s Degree in Operations Management or MBA in General Management / Operations Management from a reputable business school will be an added advantag
Good understanding of Contract procedure, bid packaging as well as contractor/vendor selection
Minimum of 10 years’ post-graduate experience in conglomerate business within an Operations Management context
Must have infrastructure/ project operations management experience or attained senior management level at a reputable conglomerate business, commercial /CompetenciesStrong knowledge of value chain management, operations
Good working knowledge of the syndicated loan and project finance markets and the corresponding products
Must be familiar with types of agreements/contracts typically used in limited recourse project finance
Ability to comprehensively understand financial statements;
Industry/market and product knowledge
Credit risk analysis and risk structuring skills
Ability to think out of the box and generate creative solution
