General Manager Job in Lagos

• We are seeking a results-driven General Manager with strong engineering, leadership, and project management experience to oversee and coordinate the entire operations of the company.
• The ideal candidate will hold a COREN certificate, be a registered member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), and possess a minimum of 6–7 years of experience in construction, oil & gas, or refinery sectors.
• This role is pivotal to driving strategic growth, improving efficiency, ensuring operational excellence, and winning new contracts.
• You will report directly to the Managing Director and have full oversight of all departments and personnel.

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day operations across all departments
• Supervise the Operations Manager, Service Manager, Business Development Team, and Training Units
• Oversee the Confined Space Entry (CSE) and LOTO Training Center operations and drive client engagement
• Act as the central reporting point for all staff and departments
• Schedule and chair weekly management meetings
• Collect and review weekly reports from all staff and departments.

• Drive worksite mobilizations, project startups, and ensure timely completions
• Lead technical and commercial presentations to clients and prospects
• Oversee and execute the full contract lifecycle: bid submission, award, mobilization, and delivery
• Ensure quality delivery and compliance on all projects
• Recruit and supervise key personnel as needed.

• Ensure daily and weekly marketing of services, training programs, and solutions
• Oversee development and distribution of promotional materials: flyers, videos, animations
• Work with the marketing and design team to maintain a consistent brand image across the website, social media, and CRM
• Build and sustain strong customer relationships
• Track leads, client engagement, and conversion metrics.

• Lead recruitment, training, and outsourcing services for client staffing solutions
• Ensure proper maintenance of company assets, IT infrastructure, and tools
• Coordinate all industry regulatory permits and certifications including but not limited to:

• Federal Ministry of Labour
• Lagos State Safety Commission
• DPR
• IRATA
• LEEA.
• Develop and implement internal HSE procedures and supervise compliance.

• Ensure timely submission of operational, sales, and finance-related reports
• Work with finance to monitor cash flow, budget adherence, and expense control
• Recommend improvements based on data-driven analysis.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)
• COREN certified and NSE membership is mandatory
• Minimum of 6 - 7 years of experience in engineering operations, project management, or general management in construction, oil & gas, or refinery sector
• Proven experience managing teams of 15 or more direct reports
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• High proficiency in project scheduling, resource planning, and client-facing presentations
• Knowledge of digital marketing tools, CRM platforms, and social media strategies
• Proactive, results-oriented, and self-driven with a strong ownership mindset.

• Base Salary: N500,000 per month (N6,000,000 Annually)
