Book Design:
  • Create visually appealing and cohesive designs for travel books, ensuring a seamless and engaging reader experience.
  • Tailor designs to capture the essence of each travel destination and complement the book's content.
2. Print Preparation:
  • Prepare book designs for print, with a focus on Amazon KDP specifications.
  • Ensure high-quality formatting, resolution, and print readiness for a professional end product.
3. Collaboration:
  • Work closely with authors, editors, and other stakeholders to understand the vision for each book.
  • Incorporate feedback and revisions to meet the desired aesthetic and content requirements.
4. Publishing Knowledge:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the publishing process, particularly in the context of Amazon KDP.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, design standards, and platform-specific requirements.
5. Remote Work:
  • Work independently and remotely, providing a minimum commitment of 14 hours per week.
  • Meet project deadlines and communicate effectively with the team.
Ideal ProfileQualifications and ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven experience in book design, with a strong portfolio showcasing travel book designs.
  • Expertise in preparing designs for print, specifically on Amazon KDP.
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of publishing processes and industry standards.
Contract Details
  • Freelance position, with a minimum commitment of 14 hours per week.
  • Completely remote work, providing flexibility in location.
