- Event Briefing: Meet with clients to take detailed briefs on event requirements, including menu preferences, seating arrangements, and special requests.
- Banquet Event Orders: Prepare comprehensive event orders with complete details to guide all departments in delivering seamless events.
- Event Planning & Setup: Coordinate the setup of event spaces, arranging tables, chairs, linens, and table settings according to event specifications.
- Staff Management: Supervise, train, and schedule banquet and event staff, ensuring they fully understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Service Delivery: Oversee food and beverage service during events to maintain exceptional service quality and guest satisfaction.
- Client Interaction: Act as the main point of contact for clients during events, addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordination: Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
- Quality Control: Monitor event setups and service to ensure adherence to company standards and client expectations.
- Problem-Solving: Handle any issues or emergencies that arise during events, providing effective and timely solutions.
- Vendor Management: Manage communication, delivery, and payments for all internal and external vendors to ensure smooth event execution.
- Clean-Up: Supervise the breakdown and clean-up of event spaces after events, ensuring all equipment and areas are restored to their original condition.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of banquet supplies and equipment to support event operations.
- Activities Management: Oversee the booking and delivery of all complimentary and paid guest activities, including boat rides, picnics, team bonding, movie nights under the stars, fishing, spa sessions, bonfires, karaoke, and more.
- Education: A degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in a supervisory role within a banquet, event, or hospitality setting is
- required.
