- You will act as a strategic business partner to the CEO and executive team, driving financial vision and growth strategies
- You will lead the development and execution of financial plans, budgets, and forecasts that align with business goals
- You will provide financial analysis and insights to support pricing, investment, expansion, and inventory decisions
- You will ensure timely preparation of financial reports income statements, balance sheets, and cash flows in line with IFRS and regulatory standards
- You will oversee compliance, tax reporting, and audit processes, ensuring robust internal controls and risk management
- You will drive cost management initiatives, partnering with department heads to optimize spending across all units
- You will manage capital structure, cash flow, accounts payable, and receivables to maintain liquidity and operational efficiency
- You will lead fundraising initiatives, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives
- You will build, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering accountability and continuous growth
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline (ICAN/ACCA required; postgraduate degree is an advantage)
- Minimum 6 years’ finance experience, with at least 2 years in a senior finance management role (Finance Manager or above)
- Proven leadership experience within a reputable retail, FMCG, or manufacturing company
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and monitor financial systems and processes
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, IFRS, and relevant Nigerian tax and financial regulations
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills
- Proficiency in financial management systems, ERPs, and advanced use of MS Office Suite (retail-specific software is a plus)
- Tech-savviness and a track record of leveraging technology to improve financial reporting and decision-making
