The NOC Engineer at SWATX is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the operational integrity of the network infrastructure across our services in Nigeria. This role involves real-time analysis and troubleshooting of network incidents to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance for our clients.As a crucial member of the Network Operations Center (NOC) team, you will be tasked with responding to alerts, managing incidents, and collaborating with other technical teams to resolve issues efficiently. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and a commitment to high-quality service delivery.Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NOC or network support role.
  • Strong understanding of networking principles and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.).
  • Familiarity with network monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
  • Experience with troubleshooting network issues related to routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Strong communication skills for coordinating with team members and interfacing with clients.
  • Availability to work in a shift-based model to ensure 24/7 network coverage.
  • Certifications such as CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are preferred.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages is a plus.
