We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head of Finance to lead and oversee all financial aspects of our automobile business operations in Benin City.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing financial strategies, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, managing budgets, improving profitability, and supporting executive management with financial insights.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement sound financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
Prepare and present accurate financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to management.
Monitor and manage company cash flow, cost controls, and profitability metrics.
Oversee the preparation of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Coordinate internal and external audits and manage relationships with auditors.
Supervise the finance team, providing guidance and performance management.
Collaborate with department heads to improve financial decision-making and cost efficiency.
Analyze market trends, competitors, and industry developments to identify financial opportunities or risks.
Implement financial systems and tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.

Requirements

B.Sc. / HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA is an added advantage).
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CFA is required.
Experience in the automobile or related industry is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and Nigerian financial reporting standards.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and make strategic financial decisions.
