• You will define and oversee the company’s legal strategy, aligning with internal objectives and risk appetite.
• You will design policies, internal controls, and protocols that ensure legal and regulatory compliance across all business functions.
• You will assess legal implications of new ventures, strategic decisions, and market expansions.

• You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, partners, and employees.
• You will ensure our contracts are robust, legally sound, and commercially favorable.
• You will support M&A, fundraising, and other corporate finance activities with due diligence and legal oversight.

• You will monitor regulatory changes and ensure company-wide compliance with local and international laws.
• You will lead internal audits and implement systems to minimize legal exposure and liability.
• You will manage intellectual property protections, including trademarks, patents, and licensing.

• You will advise on legal disputes and recommend appropriate action to mitigate potential litigation risks.
• You will liaise with external counsel when required and ensure effective representation of company interests.
• You will coordinate and manage any active or potential litigation cases.

• You will be the primary legal advisor to the executive team and board on all strategic legal matters.
• You will train internal teams on legal procedures, compliance protocols, and risk awareness.
• You will foster relationships with regulators, legal bodies, and external counsel to stay ahead of legislative shifts.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Law and a valid license to practice in Nigeria.
• At least 8 years’ experience in corporate law, ideally in a fast-paced, multinational, or tech-driven business.
• Demonstrated experience managing legal risk, compliance, and contract negotiations.
• Exceptional research, analytical, and advisory skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• A strong sense of ethics, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• The ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
