- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team.
- The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating engineering activities across the upstream, middle stream, and downstream sectors.
- This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background, exceptional management skills, and a proven track record in delivering complex engineering projects.
- Ensure engineers set and meet milestones, deadlines, objectives, and goals aligned with project delivery timelines.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from the inquiry stage to project execution, managing a team of multi-discipline engineers for various projects.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Enhance existing processes and procedures within the engineering function.
- Participate in detailed design calculations, preparation of engineering data sheets & specifications, and shop fabrication drawings.
- Troubleshoot design problems arising from shop and field capabilities.
- Engage in pre-award activities, including preliminary design, preparation of tender drawings, material take-offs, and cost estimation.
- Collaborate with management and the business development team to discuss project specifications and procedures.
- Front-end client interactions, addressing queries and providing clarifications for various engineering disciplines.
- Review and assess technical proposals, designs, and code contributions from internal and external teams.
- Lead a team of multiple-discipline design engineers and draftsmen in the execution of engineering-related activities.
- Collaborate with commercial/procurement teams in the preparation of quotations, bids, material sourcing, and vendor development.
- Work closely with the project management team to ensure proper execution of the job within the specified scope.
- Manage design issues with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with client design requirements.
- Build and develop a high-performing team capable of handling diverse projects in the future.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in project management and engineering leadership within the EPC sector.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Strong technical background with expertise in multi-discipline engineering projects.
- Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
