• Providing leadership and strategic direction for the Finance and Accounting team.
• Overseeing all accounting activities including journal entries, ledger operations, and financial reporting.
• Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Managing and reconciling all company accounts and preparing detailed financial analysis reports.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory tax regulations—NSITF, PAYE, WHT, VAT, and Pension—and preparing accurate filings and remittances.
• Managing payroll operations and ensuring accuracy in employee compensations and benefits.
• Handling internal control systems and ensuring adherence to company financial policies.
• Supervising accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure cash flow efficiency.
• Leading the budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with executive management.
• Monitoring financial performance and offering data-driven recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records in Sage or equivalent accounting software.
• Leading year-end audits and liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Overseeing preparation and submission of regulatory returns (e.g., to the Central Bank of Nigeria, FIRS, etc.).
• Reviewing and approving all financial documents, reconciliations, and analysis reports before submission.
• Ensuring the maintenance of a proper filing system for all financial and accounting records.
• Recording budget appropriations and tracking expenditures across departments.
• Resolving all discrepancies in accounts promptly and accurately.
• Leading the recruitment, training, and supervision of junior finance staff.
• Performing any other financial duties as may be required by executive management.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• ICAN or ACCA certification is mandatory.
• In-depth knowledge of Nigerian financial regulations and statutory compliance.
• Strong experience using Sage accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to lead, manage teams, and deliver results under pressure.
• High ethical standards and integrity.

• Salary: N300,000 - N400,000 / month.
