S/he will ensure the delivery of seamless, scalable, and high-performing digital experiences that align with the company’s commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities§ Lead the design and development of responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly frontend applications.§ Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.§ Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability.§ Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and contribute to improving the user experience.§ Implement best practices in coding standards, testing, and continuous integration.§ Mentor and guide junior frontend engineers, providing technical leadership and peer reviews.§ Stay current with emerging frontend technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to strategic engineering decisionsRequirementsKey Requirements:Qualifications:Education:§ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).Experience:§ 5 – 8 years of proven experience in frontend development, preferably in fintech or technology-driven organizations.§ Strong track record of delivering complex, high-traffic, and scalable web applications.Technical Skills:§ Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.js (core requirement).§ Solid understanding of modern frontend build pipelines and tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.).§ Familiarity with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, or Context API).§ Experience with responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and accessibility standards.§ Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.§ Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).Core Competencies:§ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.§ Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.§ Leadership and mentoring capabilities.§ Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and performance.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hybrid working environmentBenefitsCompensation: Base pay ranges BTW N800k – N1.2m Monthly + other interesting benefits
