Your responsibilities…
  • You will oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • You will provide financial analysis and reports to senior management, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • You will ensure timely submission of financial reports to regulatory bodies.
  • You will lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to ensure realistic projections.
  • You will monitor and evaluate budget performance, providing regular updates and recommendations.
  • You will conduct financial forecasting and scenario analysis to assist in long-term planning.
  • You will supervise daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • You will ensure accurate reconciliation of financial transactions and timely book closures.
  • You will oversee and respond to emails directed to the accounting department.
  • You will supervise and review bills before sending them to clients.
  • You will oversee financial aspects related to embryo, egg, and semen freezing follow-ups.
  • You will ensure compliance with tax regulations, including PAYE, VAT, and corporate tax.
  • You will coordinate with external auditors and facilitate statutory audits.
  • You will stay updated on tax legislation and accounting standards to ensure compliance.
  • You will lead and manage the accounting team, providing mentorship and professional development.
  • You will implement performance metrics to ensure operational efficiency.
  • You will oversee the bank reconciliation process, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
  • You will manage and safeguard company assets, ensuring accurate asset records.
  • You will provide strategic financial advice to support key business decisions and investment opportunities.
  • You will recommend and implement financial system improvements for better accuracy and efficiency.
  • You will ensure all payment transactions are reviewed, validated, and properly documented before disbursement.
  • You will review journal postings to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
  • You will oversee payroll preparation, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • You will monitor inventory levels, preventing overstocking or shortages.
  • You will negotiate with banks to secure favorable terms for financial dealings.
  • You will liaise with external auditors and address audit queries promptly.
  • You will review the company’s investment portfolio and provide strategic recommendations.
  • You will follow up on outstanding invoices and oversee documentation and compliance for embryo and sperm freezing.
To be considered, you should have…
  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA are preferred.
  • At least 7 years of experience in accounting and financial management, with leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, and compliance regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
