- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the operations team across multiple depot locations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive operations plans to achieve organizational targets in product supply, distribution, and depot management.
- Design and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for operations and logistics, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.
- Oversee day-to-day depot operations, ensuring timely and accurate reporting of dispatches, product receipts, and inventory balances.
- Establish strong liaison and maintain compliance relationships with regulatory bodies (NNPC, PPMC, NMDPRA, NPA, etc.).
- Identify, register, and evaluate the performance of third-party service providers including transporters and depot contractors.
- Conduct regular market intelligence and pricing research to support strategic procurement and supply chain decisions.
- Ensure timely procurement and distribution of petroleum products based on market demand and supply schedules.
- Oversee the preparation and monitoring of the operations budget, ensuring cost efficiency and financial performance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or any related field.
- A Master’s degree (e.g., MBA) is an added advantage.
- Relevant certifications in Oil & Gas operations, HSE, or Supply Chain Management are desirable
- Minimum of 10–15 years’ experience in downstream oil and gas operations, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
- Proven track record of managing multi-site depot operations and logistics in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Deep understanding of the downstream oil and gas industry, including regulatory frameworks and market dynamics.
- Proficiency in operational software systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
